The Chuck Norris Experiment - Rock gods from Gothenburg, Sweden.

The debut album was released about 6 months after the first gathering by Italian label: Scarey Records and Finnish label Bad Attitude Records. A few months later the American label Devil Doll Records picked up the album and released it all over the USA. This was followed up by a successful tour over Europe at the end of 2005.

The album "Volume! Voltage!" was released in Australia by Off The Hip Records in the fall of 2006. This album was a special Australian release of the debut album mixed with the second album "...And The Rest Will Follow" which was released by Masterrock Records & Chorus Of One Records early 2007. This exclusive Australian release was followed by a massive European tour during October 2006.

In between the albums the band have released a split 10" LP with the V8 Wankers, a split CD with cult bands Electric Frankenstein, V8W & The Whocares, been on/in numerous collections, movies, tributes and movie soundtracks.

2007 was a busy year for the Chucks, starting off with a bunch of shows and festivals in Scandinavia and Germany. By this time the songs for the third album were ready and the band went into the studio to put "The Return Of Rock’n’Roll"(Masterrock Records / Psycho T Records) on tape. The album was released all over the world in the beginning of october during their massive 2-leg european tour. The major part of this tour was a headliner, but on the second leg the Chucks joined forces with Electric Eel Shock and V8 Wankers as part of a kick-ass tour package.

Fueled with great reviews for the new album and a rapidly growing fan-base The C.N.E made TWO European tours in 2008, spring and fall, and a lot of shows and festivals in between. The band also managed to release two 7" singles (one on TORNADO RIDE and the other on NOBALLS records) and one split CD with SO FUCKING WHAT during 2008. While this was happening the writing process for the forth full-length started to take shape and form.

The new album, still unnamed, will be released on swedish kickass label ALLEYCAT RECORDS. It is set to be THE rockalbum of 2009 when it hits the shelves in the late spring... Before the new album comes out, the CNE will participate on several tributes and split releases that will see the light of day in late 2008-early 2009. The band will also always do what they do better than anyone; PLAY LIVE!

WANNA ASK THE BAND ABOUT THE BANDNAME? READ THIS!
"There is a common misunderstanding that we took our bandname after the "actor" Chuck Norris. If we wanted to chose a name from someone involved in Karate we would not have chosen a dude from America, we would had gone to the source of Karate (China) and we would had chosen the coolest, best and most skilled performer there. And then I guess we would have been called THE BRUCE LEE EXPERIMENT or simular.

Our bandname is a tribute to the American blues legend Charles "Chuck" Norris, who released the one of the greatest blues albums in the world in 1979. The album is called "The Los Angeles Flash" and parts of it is acctually recorded in our hometown of Göteborg. Chuck Norris played with legends like The Platters & Dinah Washington.

And as hopefully everyone knows, blues is the mother and source of rock'n'roll, and that also meens that blues IS the mother of punk, hardrock, metal, hardcore etc etc. Our bandname is a simple "thank you" to a great guitarist and a amazing musican!!"
